Wolfgang Gowin produced sculptures and art projects for several decades. Collectors as well as museums have bought his works.

He works with steel, copper, concrete, wood, multiple materials, found objects. Installations and public art projects have been accomplished in teamwork with architects, local institutions, and state-related departments.

Gowin has participated in more than two hundred performances, group exhibitions, and about thirty solo shows in the US, Germany, Australia, and Costa Rica. Small and large public art projects have been managed and completed successfully by him in Germany, Costa Rica, the US, and Australia. He has received several awards for his art outside of Europe.  He was granted over a million DM for a large-scale project in Brandenburg, Germany.
